When it comes to cruise parking, Seattle has among the most expensive options of any city you’ll find. It’s even more expensive to park here than cruise hubs like Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Much of this is due to the port’s location. Situated near downtown in a densely populated city, land is expensive and parking is in short supply.
But one of the best deals in cruising is that some hotels will allow you to park at a discount to port parking if you stay with them for a night. So if you are planning to stay the night in Seattle anyway, you can also get your parking handled as well.
Now, we’ve found that most of the hotels convenient to the port don’t offer parking while you cruise. In fact, most places near the ports charge hefty prices for parking, even on the nights you stay with them.
There are a few hotels, however, that offer free or discounted parking around town, especially those near the airport. (Keep in mind that if you park here, you will still have to pay for a ride to/from the cruise terminal.)
We suggest that if you plan to stay in Seattle before or after your cruise and have a hotel in mind, then give the hotel a call and see if they offer a parking package while you sail. If the hotel is at least a few miles from the port and has a decent-sized parking lot, it’s a good chance they will allow you to leave your car there as an incentive for your business.
If not, then the list below should offer you up plenty of options.

Seattle Hotels with Cruise Parking
Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle
Within walking distance of the Space Needle and Lake Union, you’re in the heart of Seattle when you stay here. As well, it’s only a few minutes from the cruise ports. The Four Points offers the “Cruise Package” that includes a night’s stay and seven days parking for $70 plus breakfast. One thing to note is that the hotel’s garage has a 6’2″ height limit. Note: When we called the hotel, the parking package was sold out for that specific day so you’ll want to book early.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport
As with many of the hotels offering cruise parking, this spot is located near the airport. The DoubleTree is a nicer hotel, so expect to pay a little more to stay here. They offer a “Park, Stay and Go” package that offers parking for up to 7 nights for about $115 over the base rate, or the equivalent of $16 a night. That’s less than what you’d pay at the port for parking, and transportation from the hotel to the cruise port is also available.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the closest hotel to the ports with cruise parking?
The closest hotel that we’ve found is Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle. This hotel is only about a 5-minute ride from Pier 66. If sailing from Pier 91, then you will need to allot about 10 minutes..
Are there any hotels with free cruise parking?
In our search, we found a number of hotels with “free” parking included if you booked the package for your stay, however the packages are priced higher than the base rate. While these packages typically cost more then just a regular night’s stay, they often include other perks than just parking such as breakfast.
Most of the hotels by the airport have packages for flyers. Can I book these for cruise parking?
Obviously hotels near the airport cater to those flying out of Sea-Tac with their parking package. However, there is no rule saying you have to head to a flight to take advantage. We suggest booking one of these packages and then leaving your car while you head to the cruise port instead of the airport.
