Yes it would mean a lot of crosswalks and crossing streets and parking lot driveways to get away from the airport, but the distance is only about 1.5 – 2 miles (depending on which side of the terminal buildings you arrive). Of course that wouldn’t be fun dragging luggage.

We’d suggest looking up shuttle services to the port, or getting several Uber/Lyft cars. Note that we aren’t a shuttle provider.
