That’s correct. Year-round sailing started back in 2000. Before, there were occasional seasonal cruises.

Our departures from galveston on “the Star of Texas” in the mid to late 1980’s proves beyond a doubt that Galveston and Houston have had cruise departures since the early 1980’s. Minimally. The Stella Solaris departed from Galveston in the seventies.
